About InSight, PowerOutlines and ClipWriter   

Both PowerOutlines and InSight 3 can import NoteTab outline files (.otl) into a treeview capable context. You can add folders and multiple topic levels. PowerOutlines can also save changes in .otl outline format, since its catalogs are 100% plain text. 

InSight, PowerOutlines and ClipWriter are not add-ins for NoteTab, but full fledged Windows applications. Some people have mistakenly perceived ClipWriter as an add-in because its purpose was to help writing clips. The truth is, no add-in could justify three years of development and the costs of producing such a program!

While ClipWriter can only be useful to NoteTab users, InSight and PowerOutlines are completely independent Windows applications. Here are just a few of the things you can do with outlines in InSight:
 

• Instantly find all topics containing a specific word
• Go back and forth between topics.
• Display a list of lines containing a certain word with the ability to jump to a specific line
• Mark topics of interest by placing checkmarks on the tree list.
• Edit multiple topics side-by-side
